Level 1 & 2 Snowboard
Instructor Courses
Whether you want to train to become a snowboard instructor in Canada, in France or in New Zealand, SnowSkool has a course for you. All our season-long snowboard instructor courses include tuition to Level 1 and Level 2 of the BASI, CASI or SBINZ. These snowboard instructor qualifications are recognised internationally and will allow you to find work as a snowboard instructor at resorts in many countries throughout the world.

During the season-long courses - 13 or 11 weeks in Canada, 11 weeks in France or 10 weeks in New Zealand - you can add to your snowboard instructor qualifications with freestyle coaching qualifications, avalanche awareness and winter first aid certificates.
In addition, staying for three months with us in resort will give you the chance to spend considerable time in the terrain park perfecting your freestyle skills. And when not on the slopes, how about learning to ice climb, going snow-tubing, driving a dog-sled or going heli-boarding? Your SnowSkool reps can help make all these activities a part of your SnowSkool snowboard instructor course.
Level 1 Snowboard
Instructor Courses
Our short snowboard instructor courses take place in Canada where you can choose between winter or spring in the busy, happening town of Banff or winter in the luxurious ski-in / ski-out resort of Big White. These courses last for either four or five weeks and participants will train for the Level 1 of the CASI with holders of this certificate entitled to work in Australia, Canada, Japan and the USA as well as a few smaller countries.
For those who are not looking to work as a snowboard instructor, the short courses are a great way to devote some time to significantly improving your snowboarding. If you feel you have hit a ceiling, the four- and five-week snowboard instructor courses will give your riding the boost required to take it to a whole new level. Understanding the science of snowboarding will give you the skills and knowledge to improve your technique for many years to come.
Freestyle training is an integral part of every snowboard instructor’s armoury and every SnowSkool snowboard instructor course will involve time on the rails, kickers, hips and spines in the modern-day terrain park.
