snowboard Instructor Courses
INSTANT COOL…JUST ADD (FROZEN) WATER!
Whereas teaching maths is not exactly regarded as super-cool, teaching extreme sports is off-the-scale cool. What with snowboarding being the downright dopest of those sport, surely that makes snowboard instructors the coolest of the cool? SnowSkool’s snowboard instructor courses in Canada, France, NZ and the United States of America – every resort in which we work offers world-class riding, you are taught by the most experienced & highly-qualified snowboard instructors and our recruitment service will also help you find a job as a snowboard instructor once qualified!
Regardless of your tastes, budgets and time constraints, SnowSkool will have a snowboard instructor course to suit your individual needs…we have short & long courses, we have courses that specialise in the big mountain experience, courses with an insane party scene, courses that offer the last word in comfort with luxurious ski-in/ ski-out accommodation and courses that take place in some of the most exciting environments in the world. We’d love to send you a brochure, we’d love to speak to you, we’d love to help you to become a snowboard instructor.
Snowboard Instructor Training
From 2 weeks to 12 weeks
The time difference between the short and long courses may be as little as 4 or 5 weeks but, man, are you going to learn a lot in the second half! On a season-long snowboard instructor course (9 to 12 weeks), you will train for the Level 2 snowboard instructor qualification – a big step-up from Level 1 and enabling you to work as a snowboard instructor internationally. Not only that, but you can make the most of the season – devote some time to improving your freestyle, explore the backcountry or do some heli-boarding! SnowSkool’s season-long snowboard instructor courses take place in Banff, Big Sky, Big White, the Three Valleys and Treble Cone.
If you’re restricted by time but still want to train as a snowboard instructor, check out SnowSkool’s range of short snowboard instructor courses. Lasting from 2 to 5 weeks, you can hugely improve your riding and pick up a BASI (SnowSkool France) or CASI (SnowSkool Canada) Level 1 qualification. SnowSkool’s short snowboard instructor courses take place in Banff, Big White and the Three Valleys.
THE LATEST & GREATEST FROM THE SNOWSKOOL TEAM
In a poll of the SnowSkool staff members we asked; “What’s the best thing about the new SnowSkool snowboard instructor course in Big Sky?” Here are the responses…
PHIL: The terrain; chutes, couloirs, steeps & deeps. 5500 acres of fun. Fully sick!
DUNK: 4350ft of vertical…I love it deep (and steep)!
MARION: It runs in the Aussie summer holidays and we'll have you back in time for the start of Uni!
NICK: The snow…Big Sky gets dumped on – 35ft each winter. Knackering on the back leg though!
STEVE: Slopeside accommodation is a real blessing at the end of a long day’s riding!
