Snowboard Instructor Training

From 2 weeks to 12 weeks

Snowboard Instructor Courses in New Zealand

The time difference between the short and long courses may be as little as 4 or 5 weeks but, man, are you going to learn a lot in the second half! On a season-long snowboard instructor course (9 to 12 weeks), you will train for the Level 2 snowboard instructor qualification – a big step-up from Level 1 and enabling you to work as a snowboard instructor internationally. Not only that, but you can make the most of the season – devote some time to improving your freestyle, explore the backcountry or do some heli-boarding! SnowSkool’s season-long snowboard instructor courses take place in Banff, Big Sky, Big White, the Three Valleys and Treble Cone.

If you’re restricted by time but still want to train as a snowboard instructor, check out SnowSkool’s range of short snowboard instructor courses. Lasting from 2 to 5 weeks, you can hugely improve your riding and pick up a BASI (SnowSkool France) or CASI (SnowSkool Canada) Level 1 qualification. SnowSkool’s short snowboard instructor courses take place in Banff, Big White and the Three Valleys.

THE LATEST & GREATEST FROM THE SNOWSKOOL TEAM

New Big Sky Snowboard Instructor Course

In a poll of the SnowSkool staff members we asked; “What’s the best thing about the new SnowSkool snowboard instructor course in Big Sky?” Here are the responses…
PHIL: The terrain; chutes, couloirs, steeps & deeps. 5500 acres of fun. Fully sick!
DUNK: 4350ft of vertical…I love it deep (and steep)!
MARION: It runs in the Aussie summer holidays and we'll have you back in time for the start of Uni!
NICK: The snow…Big Sky gets dumped on – 35ft each winter. Knackering on the back leg though!
STEVE: Slopeside accommodation is a real blessing at the end of a long day’s riding!
