BASI Level 1 Snowboard qualification

BASI Snowboard Instructor Qualifications

There are four levels of snowboard instructors within the BASI system (British Association of Snowboard Instructors). The first of these is creatively-named "Level 1." It is this snowboard instructor exam that you will sit on the 2-week course - and with it you can work as a snowboard instructor in the UK and Australia.

So whether you want your qualification or just want to improve your riding, you’ll get a lot of time on the snow and you will be fitter rather than fatter and everyone will fancy you. Guaranteed!

In late-November last year, I spoke to the local snowdome about some vacancies as snowboard instructors. They asked me about my qualifications (not surprising in hindsight!) Errrr?? However, after a quick search on Google, I came across the two-week SnowSkool snowboard instructor course. Having got my BASI Level 1, I was working back in the snowdome just before Xmas. Too easy!
