Party Time!Snowboard Instructor Course - Three Valleys
Intensive Snowboard Training in the World’s Favourite Ski Area
For the SnowSkool BASI snowboard instructor course in the Three Valleys, we are working alongside a British Snowboard School based in Meribel. All snowboard instructors employed by the School are BASI ISTD instructors and among the most highly-qualified snowboard instructors in Europe. It is a requirement of the BASI Level 2 Snowboard Instructor exam that all candidates must chalk-up 70 hours of work experience in a Snowboard School and, with this in mind, the SnowSkool BASI snowboard instructor course has been developed to give you the necessary time shadowing the experts as well as working on improving your snowboarding skills. You will also spend time learning mountain safety techniques, piste and off-piste performance, bumps clinics, steep slope techniques, freestyle and much more.
We are very proud of the SnowSkool BASI snowboard instructor course and we feel that no other course will give you as much training, insights and experience to help you to find kick-start your career as a snowboard instructor.
What is more, the whole experience surrounding the SnowSkool 11-week snowboard instructor training course is amazing. You will live in a chalet in a beautiful French village in the Savoyard with access to the world’s largest ski area, the Three Valleys.
Le Snowboard instructor course en France
Bonjour les photos!
who goes on this course?

There's typically a wide age range on our Three Valleys snowboard instructor course from 18-55. For Aussies and North Americans riding in Europe has a certain attraction and then there are the Brits who grew up snowboarding in the Alps and want to develop their love affair with France.
We recommend a minimum of ten weeks on-snow experience - meaning you kinda need to rock up as a good snowboarder. You need to be comfortable riding everything on-piste and even some easier off-piste trails. If not, you're likely to struggle with the Level 1 snowboard instructor exam - which runs in week 2 of the course!
Got this far and you're within touching distance of going on our Three Valleys instructor course ... or do you want to check out another SnowSkool snowboard instructor course.
BASI Snowboard Instructor Qualifications
Level 1 & Level 2 Snowboard Instructor

Candidates will be trained for a variety of qualifications on the SnowSkool Three Valleys snowboard instructor course: the BASI Level 1 and Level 2 snowboard instructor qualifications, BASP First Aid training, BASI Child Protection Module and an Avalanche Awareness course. You will also gain 70 hours of Snowboard School work experience which is a pre-requisite for gaining your qualifications.
Please note the BASI Level 2 snowboard instructor qualification will not enable you to work in France without passing further tests.

SnowSkool Case Study
Donna Brown, 25, SnowSkool Three Valleys 2011

"I phoned SnowSkool in May ‘10 because I just needed a break ... outside the UK and somewhere with lots of snow and lots of wine”! After talking through the various courses with the SnowSkool team, I plumped for the course in Meribel. Needless to say, I had a great time - plenty of wine drunk along the way - and was delighted to pass my Level 2 at the end of the course.
