Snowboarding Instructor Course New Zealand - Stats

The SnowSkool NZ snowboarding instructor course tends to have an age range from 18-35. It's popular for those leaving school and Uni (and who need a little bit of time to save before you go!). The course is ideal for those looking for a fast-track into the industry: get your instructor qualifications in NZ and then head to the northern hemisphere a few months later to work as an instructor.

The SnowSkool NZ course is a tough snowboard course and so to succeed we expect people to arrive as reasonably competent riders - namely with the ability to ride down a red run with good speed and control. You will train to Level 2 on the SBINZ snowboard instructor ladder - a level which will allow you to work throughout North America and in many countries in Europe.

New Zealand not quite right for you ... don't worry, we're sure to have a course that's perfect for you! Find out about SnowSkool's other snowboard instructor training courses.

SBINZ Qualifications on our Snowboarding Instructor Course

The snowboard qualifications of SBINZ (Snowboard Instructors of New Zealand) are already well-regarded but continue to gain in reputation. On the SnowSkool snowboard instructor course you will sit your Level 1 qualification within three weeks of arriving - and then crack on with Level 2 training. You'll need the Level 2 to work internationally.

The SnowSkool programme package includes exam fees for both the Level 1 and Level 2.

SnowSkool Case Study - Stuart Selkirk

““I arrived with only four weeks experience so struggled for the first week ... but the SnowSkool instructors and SnowSkool reps were great and kept me going. I got through both my exams and jetted off to work at Lake Louise in Canada (I got the job through SnowSkool's recruitment service). I had an awesome season but always yearned to return to NZ - so applied for the University of Canterbury and am still here!””
