SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR TRAINING IN BIG WHITE
Big Mountain Riding With Small Village Feel
For the SnowSkool snowboard instructor course in Big White, we employ a small team of the most experienced snowboard instructors from the Big White Snowboard School. These guys and girls are all seasoned CASI Level 3 snowboard instructors or CASI Level 4 snowboard instructors. The snowboard instructors rotate between the different SnowSkool snowboard groups on a weekly basis in an attempt to ensure every student receives a broad learning perspective from fantastic snowboard instructors. Snowboard instructor training lessons take place for five hours per day, five days per week. This is more tuition than is offered by any other snowboard instructor course giving you the best chance at passing your CASI Level 1 and CASI Level 2 Snowboard Instructor qualifications and going on to work as a snowboard instructor. Indeed many graduates of the SnowSkool snowboard instructor course have gone on to work the slopes at Big White.
In all snowboard courses in Canada, there is a lot of off-piste and freestyle training and Big White is the perfect location for this with some of the best tree-riding in Canada and awesome freestyle park facilities.
Yet another thing that sets the SnowSkool Big White snowboard instructor course apart is the accommodation - you will live in a very swanky apartments with private hot-tub, swimming pool, gym and genuine ski-in / ski-out access!

Who goes on this course?

It's difficult to summarise who goes on this course ... we typically have a range of ages from 18-60! But it's fair to say that there are some things that attract everyone ... very luxurious ski-in/ ski-out apartments - all with private hot-tubs and access to a swimming pool and gym; the snow at Big White - it can often be a boarder's first taste of deep powder-snow; and the terrain also lends itself to dramatic improvements in your riding.
Finally, the Big White Ski School has a fantastic record of employing snowboard instructors from the SnowSkool programme - they regard the SnowSkool snowboard instructor training course as an eleven-week interview.
If you've got this far, surely you're convinced that Big White's for you ... but if not, find out where else you can become a snowboard instructor with SnowSkool.
Snowboard Instructor Qualifications

SnowSkool Case Study
Jayna Allen, 28, SnowSkool Big White 2008

“Now I know I signed up for a snowboard instructor course but first let's talk about the accommodation - wow! The hot-tubs, private cinemas, gym, swimming pool – but it still massively exceeded expectation! Anyway...on with the course! Amazing snow – so light and fluffy, the tree-riding was the absolute best and everything just came together so well. I passed my Level 2 and had an awesome season in Big White!”
