How many times have you sat on a chairlift and watched a snowboarder hit a kicker and pull a sick laid out back flip / huge floaty 3 / beautiful method and kicked yourself for not focussing on your freestyle snowboarding a little more? Who really cares if your technical riding is tight, you can demonstrate precision advanced sliding turns and you never bail. Give me the ability to shred the deepest powder, slide the kinkiest kinked rails and throw huge airs of the biggest kicker any day of the week. Makes no bones about it, the SnowSkool Three Valley's snowboard camp is about making you look dope on the slopes...it may be shallow and it may be vain but, damn, you’ll look good!
SnowSkool’s snowboard improver course is split into ten week-long modules that will focus your snowboard training on specific skills. After two weeks of General Rider Improvement (GRI 1 and GRI 2) making sure everyone is snowboarding to a certain standard, your training will hot up as you go through two weeks of powder training and then three progressive weeks of freestyle snowboarding – by the end of this, we expect you to be pulling 5s off the medium kickers and getting into some advanced jibbing techniques. Following on from this is a two week backcountry touring training course and, to finish off, the All Mountain Master week.
If you are unable to join the full 11-week SnowSkool Three Valleys snowboard camp, you are welcome to join us for any number of weeks to pick and choose how you wish to progress your snowboard training. Check out the schedule below and what you want to do.
