TRAIN AS A SKI INSTRUCTOR IN BIG SKY, MONTANA

TRAIN IN YOUR SUMMER HOLIDAYS, BACK IN TIME FOR UNI!

The word “BIG” reverberates around this ski resort in a very American way. Big Sky is a big resort – 5500 acres of skiable terrain with America’s second largest vertical drop. Big Sky gets a big snowfall – 35ft of snow every winter makes it SnowSkool’s most powder-sure resort. But in contrast to this, the lift lines are absolutely not big…even on the busiest weeks, you’ll ski right up to the barriers!

Aside from the big terrain, big vertical, big snowfall and not big lift lines, we did have some other, more sensible reasons for running our first American ski instructor course in Big Sky. The Ski School with whom we are working has guaranteed that only their very best ski instructors will be assigned to the SnowSkool programme. You will only be trained by the top ski instructors, those that have the highest level available in the PSIA system...this is ISIA level and equivalent to CSIA (Canadian) Level 4. And you will be with these ski instructors five days per week, five hours per day. Furthermore, Big Sky resort can offer fantastic slope-side accommodation – a home from home that is ideal for those on a longer-term ski course – with free access to a gym, swimming pool, Jacuzzis, saunas and spa.

Will that do you? Don’t mean to go on about how awesome the place is but it is probably worth mentioning that the Montana experience is a significant part of Big Sky’s charm. In Big Sky, you’re in the Wild West and you’re in the world-famous Yellowstone National Park. It’s a magical place…you gotta experience it to believe it!
