SnowSkool Instructor Courses in the Three Valleys

Three Valleys, France

ON THE SLOPES IN THE THREE VALLEYS

Snowfall

In a ski area with an altitude stretching from the Sommet des Pistes at 3230 metres above sea level to the base of low-lying Brides-les-Bains at 600 metres, it is fair to say the snow conditions are variable. What you can be sure of, however, is that there will be snow! And, most likely, lots of it. In fact, parts of the Three Valleys guarantee snow from Christmas until the beginning of May. Spending a season in the Three Valleys between these altitudes will ensure you encounter all the conditions that will facilitate your training as a ski instructor or as a snowboard instructor.

Terrain

Terrain…? This is the world's largest ski area. Repeat: the world's largest ski area!!! You practically need a 52'' monitor to download the piste map of the Three Valleys if you want to see it in any detail. And even if they were not interlinked by 600km of pistes and 220 ski lifts, the resorts that make up the Three Valleys would be internationally-renowned in their own right. With skiing and riding for all abilities; with runs ranging from shallow piste runs to vast mogul fields and from race-training courses to a number of freestyle parks, the Three Valleys is the perfect location for SnowSkool's BASI snowboard instructor courses and ski instructor courses. The diversity is second-to-none with countless slopeside restaurants, bars and cafes for when it all becomes a little too much...!

Skiing in the Three Valleys

The Ski & Board School

SnowSkool was meticulous in its choice of which Ski & Board School to work with for the BASI ski and snowboard instructor course. We sought a British Ski School that employed English-speaking ski instructors and snowboard instructors because we would then have the assurance they had progressed through the BASI system and were absolutely in tune with what we were looking to achieve. As per usual SnowSkool standards, a final insistence was that all instructors teaching the SnowSkool program were at the top of their game. You'll be glad to know that we have found a School that ticks all the boxes:

"Parallel Lines is delighted to be working with SnowSkool in the Three Valleys. All our ski instructors and snowboard instructors are British and every single one of them is a BASI ISTD instructor - the highest level achievable. Together we have devised a package that I genuinely feel is second-to-none throughout Europe and I can not tell you how excited myself and the rest of the team at Parallel Lines are to getting the next program kicked-off in January!”

- John Hendry, Technical Director, Parallel Lines Ski & Board School, Meribel
